The Fife and Drum is the closest accommodation to Colonial Williamsburg. It is in the marketplace village. Being on the second floor can be difficult for older guests. the accommodations are adequate but the floors squeak like crazy. Great Restaurants are within one block. more

The inn keepers are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice, especially the way they have managed to get the private baths into each room. Breakfast is such a delight - the proper way to start a day in Williamsburg. And down the stairs and you are there - park the car and forget it. more
