We reserved 5 rooms through a travel service for 7/3/2009. On 7/1/2009 called to confirm as another hotel had reservation wrong earlier on this trip. As some previous reviews noted, it was time to refurbish as this is one of our usual stops enroute to SC. We were pleased with the work completed to date. Rooms have new carpet, bedding, towels, reno'd baths etc., and they are now finishing common areas. Nothing underway currently that should interfere with a comfortable stay. A very nice, clean, roomy facility. However, I didn't sleep much all night due to itching....quite sure someone had a dog in that room sometime and this was a new hatch of fleas (or something)....the hotel doesn't allow dogs but people sneak them in. B reakfast was scant so we went out. more

I've stayed at this Sleep Inn on several occasions, most recently April 2008. Have never had what I would call a bad stay, but I've noticed that quality control may be slipping a little. Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Service desk personnel were courteous. Didn't do the breakfast but it seemed to be the usual continental breakfast, no hot food; juice, bagels, coffee etc. Room was good size; bathroom seemed newly renovated; very clean.
