We were met at the airport, at no cost. Wow! What great people!
They gave us a very nicely furnished room, and full run of the beautifully renovated public rooms, plus all the information we needed for our stay. Next morning, we were a short taxi ride from the cruise terminal, where we departed to cruise on the Zodiac (highly recommended too!).
Know what you're getting here: the DeCann's are nice, normal people. They're not the kind of high-energy B&B owners who are going to be in your face non-stop, nor waiting on you hand and foot. You get to share their lovely house with them, for an extremely reasonable price, and they'll take great care of you while you're there. No more, no less.
Especially during summer when Bellingham is packed and expensive, this is a GREAT option. It's not a short walk from downtown, but the taxis come quickly and are reasonably priced. You're a short ride to everything. more
