Basically, the tiny, tiny swimming pool out front says it all. This is an older, inexpensively updated hotel. On the plus side, the mattress was decent and we escaped without bedbugs. I quizzed the reservation clerk thoroughly before booking and the main reasons I chose this hotel were that she was polite and that she advised carpeting and tiling in all rooms were new. While the carpeting was only marginally stained, the tiling in the bathroom (tub and floor) was obviously old - stained and cracked with the grout messily patched.... more
