We came here for our first anniversary about 5 years ago and stayed in the honeymoon suite: that room has been our benchmark for bed and breakfasts ever since. At $175 a night, we really have found no comparison.
The room had a huge jacuzzi tub, a fireplace with an adorable little seating area in front of it, an insanely comfortable bed with the kind of lace-tipped, crisp sheets you read about in novels, a huge shower with dual showerheads, and all sorts of wonderful, thoughtful little touches (video selections, candles and bath items at the tub, a large notebook full of local recommendations...).
And the breakfast... the breakfast... I was floored. Leslie is an incredible cook (and I'm honestly not that easily impressed).
The manor itself is delightful (what a wonderful place they live in!), and though it's a bit isolated, that's really part of the charm. We came in November, during cold, wet, relatively unpleasant weather (and I was even sick), and...
