We rode bicycles into this place and after a cold and rainy day were amazed to find a hose with cleaning rags set out for us. Also, the owner lives on the property and bakes terrfic cookies. The rooms were modest, but very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. More

Hotel is in great location, affordable, and Ellen is very friendly. We got info on where to eat, where to see Salmon run, and where to spend an extra day and what to see. Donuts in the morning and cookies at night from a local bakery. More

The Mount St Helen's motel is good value for the money. It is clean, well maintained and the friendly staff were helpful. Wifi in all rooms. Good food within walking distance (Mexican restaurant across the street and then walk through the drive through for ice cream on the other side of Berger King. Very good breakfast from 6am at Peper's... More

We read tripadvisor reviews and decided to stay here as it was closest to Mt St Helens. Very disappointed in this old style/ old fashioned motel. Rooms were dark and dreary; dark flooring, totally bare walls, very little light and impossible to read. A/C noisy. Towels were frayed at edges and very small. No coffeemaker. to get a cup of... Like the reviewer before, we paid $87 for a large, clean room. All rooms are equipped with queen size beds, according to the front desk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nicely equipped with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and microwave. Free pastries and coffee in the morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice and reasonably priced... More

We paid 87$ for the room and it was excellent. Clean with fridge, microwave, nice big flat screen TV. Free coffee and donuts in the lobby. Free Wi-Fi that was working perfectly. Nothing bad to say about this place! More

Decent hotel, nice renovations, good service. Nothing unique about it but it was clean, quiet and good value and would go back for sure. Great location if you're headed up Mt. St. Helen's. More

We just returned from a weekend at Castle Rock, WA. and I had to go straight to Trip Advisor and write a review. My son's U-16 team went to Longview for a soccer tournament and we decided to stay in Castle Rock at the Mt. St. Helen's Motel. We had a great memorable experience. The Motel is in a great... More
