The website talks nothing about winter hours or anything else.In October I called to make reservations to take my kids camping out there. The guy who answered the phone was not only RUDE, but annoyed I had called him in the off season to go camping. The only reason to use this place is it is close to lake Ozette... More

I checked into a (charming, clean) cabin with the intention of hiking the Ozette loop late in the afternoon and coming back at sunset. I asked how long they served dinner, and the gal checking me in told me that I needed to get back by six, because Rob (the owner) didn't like to cook after that. So I left the... More

I made a reservation a little less than two weeks out, for one weeknight in a cabin. Three days before the date I was supposed to arrive, I had car trouble. I called to cancel and they reminded me that if they couldn't rent the cabin, they would charge me for it. They didn't rent it, I guess, because they... More

We checked in after hours, after communicating with the office. Later that night we were asked to not use the camp bathrooms. Once we assured them that we were guests, it was ok. No smoking signs litter the area, including the entrance to the lodge, which reeks of smoke. We stayed in the cabin, the most expensive one of our... More

I just spent 4 days at the Lost Resort and it was perfect. Sites were spacious and clean, bathroom/shower were spotless, and the staff was continually busy cleaning or clearing undergrowth from the tent sites, etc. Rob and his staff are friendly, though definitely not over-the-top, and it was a lot less crowded (plus has hot water and showers) than... The cabins are behind the store. My husband and I drove up to look before we commited. The man yelled at us and was rude even after I apologized and told him we just wanted to look at the cabin. We never got out of our vehichle or anyway did anything to give him the impression we were going to... More

We stayed in one of the cabins at Lost Resort this fall because we expected it to be too rainy for good tent camping. That was the case and we were super-glad to be in a cabin. The cabin was snug and very clean with a nice cedar smell. The heater worked well, although it was a little noisy. The... More

The Lost Resort is simply an excellent campground. My true love is backcountry backpacking so I often find car campgrounds completely intolerable. But in a group of 8 with 4 young kids this was the perfect spot. The sites were very well maintained, private, and welcoming. It turns out there were lots of other people there but I didn't even...
