We went on a rainy weekend. There were some things that we loved at the place. A great location, isolated yet close to the wild, primative Rialto Beach. The tide was high, so we couldn't walk, but the dogs loved the driftwood and we gathered many beautiful rocks. The lodge was cozy, especially sitting in front of the fire and... more

Experience the wonder, beauty and serenity of the Olympic Peninsula wilderness while staying at a rustic lodge right off of the Pacific Ocean coast! Tucked back in the coastal forest, this lodge is a wonderful place to stay and well worth the cost. The service and hospitality were exceptional! This is the perfect place for rest and relaxation, especially after... more

My daughter and I thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Outback II which was sweetly decorated and was next to very large trees in the temperate rainforest of the Olympic Penninsula. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and created a very homey Lodge for people to relax and socialize. The owners were chaulk full of information regarding natural areas to... more

The service and accomidations leave a lot to be desired. We waited over 30 minutes for thew innkeepers to come from their building next door to even let us in, This was after we called them from the phone on their front porch. The rooms were not clean, we had to find the wood storage to retrieve wood for the... more

Manitou lodge B&B is an attractive, quiet, escape from the rat race. It's located a short drive from the beautiful Rialto Beach and several other exceptional beaches. The proprietors, Ed and Lynn were excellent hosts. I can't say enough nice things about our stay, which my wife and teenage daughter also enjoyed immensely. And despite one visitor's complaint about the... more

We were looking for a nice place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful coastline beaches of Washington State. The Manitou Lodge was definitely it. Lovely and quiet in the middle of the woods, close to Forks and La Push. Very clean. There was free wifi too. We would stay there again. more

The Manitou Lodge is a lovely get away set among the stately pines of Forks, Wa. Our room / bathroom were small but adorable and spotlessly clean and well maintained. There was a yummy "breakfast in a basket" tucked away in our refrigerator for each morning that could be heated in the microwave and enjoyed in our room or on... more

It is a bit out of the way, but it is very relaxing. Manitou is set between the amazing Olympic forest and the beautiful Pacific coast. My ol' college roomie and I spent a few days exploring the tide pools and beaches as well as the mountains and rainforests. We were then able to sit on comfortable porch swings and... more
