My Family and I stayed in room 12 . The room was very clean. The kitchen was missing fry pans. The oven didn't work at all but the manager helped us with other solutions but in all we had a very nice stay the staff was very friendly and the other guest were really nice . The Grayland Motel is... More

Older motel, but very clean comfortable. We were surprised on how quiet it is. We have stayed here several times and enjoy the close walk to the beach. This is nothing fancy but overall a good place to stay.

Don't expect perfect for such a great deal!!! Your dogs will live this place and so will you!!! The closeness and quiet of the beach is truly a blessing!!! So much fun! Bon fires allowed on beach. Beach isn't even crowded!!! Perfect place and perfect price! Don't forget to eat at the haunted hotel down the street: tokeland hotel. :)

Grayland Motel & Cottages hasn't changed much in over 20 years. Needs paint, needs new carpet and doors, though a great deal of maintenance has been done, including some new flooring in the entryways. Price is reasonable, rooms and linens/towels are clean. As someone above said, the hot water pressure is fantastic though the bathrooms are tiny. The path to... More

The festival itself was very quaint and charming. We bought some great wines and gifts, and loved the entire experience. However, we will NEVER stay at the Grayland Motel and Cottages again! We could overlook that the stove and fridge were so far off balance that it was funny, we could overlook that the place smelled musty and nasty, we... More

Not a luxury hotel by any means. Needed some quiet time and this was great. Each room is like a tiny house all to yourself. Everything worked. The bed was comfortable. You can smell the ocean if you leave the window open. Next time I stay, I will ask when these facilities were built. They really have character that only... More

False advertisement..doesn't look anything like the photos on the website. I was afraid to open the door. Very old but at least it is clean. The toilet runs all night, have to turn the water off under the bathroom sink or it leaked all over the floor. The fridge is really loud so I didn't get much sleep. The mattress... More

We stayed at one of the cottages. I have mixed feelings about this place but we had a nice stay. Here are the pros: It was reasonably priced and dog friendly. The room was also very clean. The lady who checked us in was polite and efficient. The kitchenette was furished with eating utensils and it was great to have... More

First of all, they are nice on the phone and make promises of "clean rooms' online. Not even close! The room smelled like MOLD, the linens and everything were old and unclean. The supposed 500ft walk to the beach...nothing close and it was gross! Please do not stay here or recommend to your friends, you will be disappointed! Also the... More

I'v e been going to the Grayland Motel for 10 years as the setting is nice, the owner is agreeable and the price is right. It shows its age some, but if luxury is not your big factor you'll like the wide open areas around the motel, nice path to the beach, roar of the surf, etc.
