This B & B is quiet and comfortable. A bit off the beaten path. It's better to take the more paved road and there's only a little more than a mile of gravel road and it's not rough, just dusty if you drive too fast :-) We enjoyed eating breakfast in the kitchen with other guests and chatting with them.... more

I wish we had read the reviews on this website before staying here! As the last stop of three on our trip to Washington this was the B&B I was most excited about visiting. What a disappointment. The view was beautiful and the rooms where clean and looked just like the website showed, but other than that it was horrible.... more

My girlfriend and I had an awesome stay here. Jerry and Carol were extremely friendly towards us, our room was incredible, and food was awesome. We agree with previous reviewers that you should stay away from this bed and breakfast. The owners of this bed and breakfast are cranky. Sometimes, they were very helpful and cheerful. Our experience at this B&B was horrible. We (aunt and uncle, mother and father, grandmother, cousin,nephews and niece of the bride) rented the entire place for the weekend as we were having a large wedding for my niece at another B&B in Trout Lake. The lack of locks on the doors is only the beginning of the weirdness that is the Husum Highlands. They suggest that this B&B is only 20 minutes from the Hood River Oregon.
