i chose the Planter instead of a bed and breakfast for two reasons. one it is right in the heart of LA Conner so i could drop off my treasures and take a little relax whenever i wanted and two it is right across the street from the best breakfast cafe ever my room looked into the courtyard with its... more

We booked the hotel for our wedding party and family. We were extremely pleased with the excellent service we received. We felt really weclome and the stafff was helpful and courteous. We didn't find the stairs a difficulty as their was platform partway up, Each one of our guests were pleased with the accomodations. A very relaxing atmosphere. The location... more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Planter for a weekend-getaway. It was absolutely perfect! The staff was extremely personable and we enjoyed the attention to detail throughout the hotel, especially the freshly brewed Starbucks in the lobby each morning! The rooms are smaller than a big city hotel, but seemingly appropriate being that you're in a quaint little... more

This is a nice little hotel. Small but clean room. However, be prepared to haul your luggage up a long flight of steps. There is no elevator. more

This place was so horrible to deal with. We booked or rooms 15 months in advance and for some reason a different wedding party (that booked only 5 months ago) to precedence over us. The Hotel called us 2 days before or stay and told us "sorry but your screwed!" Would not help or compensate for there incompetence! They were... more

We have come here frequently and it is always such a treat. If you want to splurge a bit , their Jacuzzi Suite is wonderful. Our Favorite room is the Deluxe Queen its spacious and light and bright. We also like their regular Queen rooms. We like the one that overlooks the courtyard and sculpture garden as well as the... more

Immaculate, historic, charming and considerably less expensive than the competition. The Planter sits in the middle of this strolling seaside tourist town, within easy walking distance to everything. This hotel represents the town's history and culture to a "T". We found the beds comfortable, the service personable and professional, and the courtyard with spa and fantastic garden sculptures a real... more

My husband and I had an opportunity to stay at this lovely hotel in February 2007. The accomodations were very nice and the rooms were very inviting. We had a nice view of the hotels private court yard. We enjoyed the ambience of the surroundings and enjoyed the beautiful art gallery that is connected to the hotel. Our plans were... more

Checked in to the Hotel Planter on 11/17/06 and checked out 11/19/06. Located right on the main street in LaConner with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was small, but good enough for one person who would only be sleeping there and not spending the day in the room. The owners remodeled and did a fantastic job at... more

HIstoric hotels may have fewer room amenities but they offer so much history & charm. Our queen bed room was small, but we did anticipate that having stayed at a few other old hotels which have been renovated. The staff was nice, room was clean, lots of hot water, coffee in the lobby (which was only a few steps away)... more
