Wish I'd read here before. I guess if you are truly an outdoors person and used to roughing it this would suit you...but for the price I don't know who would put up with the dirtiness and unprofessional atmosphere. Very unpleasant. more

Very nice place. Quiet and peaceful. Great fishing. Caught several 4 pound Bass, and Rainbow trout Love the privacy, If you are looking for re-juvenation this is the place to be. I love the place and will be back! Grocery markets close by. Ya gotta try this place. more

Wonderful place! It has it all. Fantastic fishing and romantic and private cottages. We caught huge trout! Had a blast! When we were done we snuggled up before the glass door wood fireplace and enjoyed the tremendous view of the lake. We are really glad we came. Thanks! more

After reading these reviews, I changed my mind about staying here for our honeymoon. I just called to cancel and they are keeping my half of my room rate of $150! Unless we succumb to this crazy policy and stay there just to re-coup the $150, I am out of this money! Just what I wanted to hear while spending... more

This place is fantastic! Beautiful views. Abundant privacy. Lovely, sparkling cottages. A great romantic retreat! We found everything to be to our liking. The inkeepers are friendly and helpful yet allow you to have as much privacy as you wish. They even have a hugh selection of DVD's for you to watch without charge! I highly recommend this place! more

It's always a bad sign when you have to pay in advance. We couldn't even stay the night, had to leave and lost our $150 flat out. Dirty everything, broken door, window, bugs everywhere, owners have ferocious scary dog...need I go on? A lesson learned for us...you can still avoid the place. more

The Lone Lake is a peaceful but stagnant artificial lake whose swarms of bugs you may not like. Your breakfast is in the fridge, if you care. There are canoes and paddleboats if you dare to wear a mold infested life jacket. The tub in the bathroom was clean, everything else around looked awfully dirty. The guestbook on the Whidbey... more
