My husband and I booked the jacuzzi suite in this hotel because, despite the fact that the hotel had some bad reviews, it looked like a quaint little place and the location seemed perfect. Upon entering the hotel room number 217 in the rear alley entrance we immediately could smell the toxic fumes that were in the air from the recent remodel of the bathroom. Dust was everywhere including the blinds, the bedspreads. The dirty floor at the front of both beds was disgusting. It had not been cleaned for weeks or even months.... more

We have been to Leavenworth a number of times but have never stayed at the Bavarian Ritz until now. We had a great room, great service & the Romance Package was great! I don't know where to start! I decided to stay at the bavarian ritz during my honeymoon because I thought that it was romantic and it was "the place to be in Leavenworth." I WAS WRONG!
