My husband and I stumbled upon this place while we were out fishing last weekend. Very reasonable rates and a great room to spend the night. Its great that the room had full kitchen facilities as the restaurant was closed. We made dinner and set out on the completely covered deck to eat and watch the sun go down. After... More

The facilities are very nice, but the managers made it exceptional with their friendliness and helpfulness! From the greeting in the parking lot when we pulled in to helping our friends with jumper cables, Joy and her husband (sorry, forgot his name) were always cheerful, friendly and helpful! The store had lots of goodies and was very nice. Everything is... More

I was skeptical of this place because of some of the reviews I had read about the "rules and rude owners" but it was the only place on Lake Mayfield that was available on short notice for a weekend getaway. I am pleased to say that those who have posted about the former owners...they are GONE, because the new ownership... More

Our family stayed in the cozy cabins for 3 nights. We went fishing, boating, swimming in the lake, hiking, saw a movie in the Great Hall, played badmitton, ate yummy ice cream and were treated like we were special. The place has brand new owners and they are truly heaven sent. The entire staff was so wonderful to us. We... More

We recently spent a weekend at the Lake Mayfield Resort & Marina - http://www.lakemayfield.com/ - and had an amazing time. It is under new ownership and the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. The staff will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We camped on Adventure Island (yes, it's an actual island!) which is... More

My husband, myself and our 9 year old son stayed at the Lake Mayfield Resort for 4 days over the 4th of July this year. We stayed in the Winston Cove kitchenette 1br room on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of all the action. We rented canoes 3 times and also a small aluminum skiff with kicker. The... More

We as a family can't see how anyone could have not enjoyed their stay at the resort and marina. We were lucky enough to have found it on one of our day trips in I believe 2008. We happened on it by accident since we were looking for the one run by Tacoma Power and made a wrong turn. Since... More

Wow. It was a jarring experience to drive up to the serenity of the lake, looking forward to our vacation, only to be greeted with the angriest person on the planet, a rude marina employee by the name of Sheryl. The way she spoke with upon arriving, with all her rules and telling us how to behave, made us feel... More

Like many of the post below we too will NEVER go back! Or least not go back while Jerry the Jerk is in charge. The Lake is a fabulous lake to spend with family and friends.. the marina/campground is one to stay away from.. Like all the rest of the horrible reviews we too were treated like crap. Told at...
