First time stay in an Extended StayAmerica facility, so didn't know what to expect. My first impression after checking in was that the interior corridor and the room reminded me of some Navy barracks I stayed in back in "those" days. Just the visual effect rather than the actual conditions. The room is very spartan, with an exceptionally firm mattress (actually hard). The kitchen has a full size fridge, a two burner stove, and a microwave. Not bad for an extended stay (mine is only 3 nights), esp. with a grocery store virtually next door. The bathroom has a fairly large counter, the shower worked well. The room was clean at check-in. So, that's the okay part.
This is not a smoke free facility. I have what I think is a non-smoking room, but someone around me smokes a lot. The smell, especially this evening, permeates the area, even outside. If you are adament about not being exposed to second hand smoke, do not stay here. If I were staying for a longer...
