This little B&B is very charming. The three guest rooms are all lovely. We have been here 4 times now, and plan to come back many more. Ginger is an excellent hostess; warm and friendly, while also giving us space to enjoy time just as a family. Breakfasts are to die for, and her specialty (in addition to breakfast) is... More

In looking for a B&B for a romantic weekend on the coast with my wife, I called many places but this was the first where a person answered the phone. Ginger was very friendly on the phone and I booked. Great decision! The location is about 3 hours from Tacoma with long sections along very scenic coast line. When we... More

That breakfast was the best ever and it beat most dinners! Oysters were heavenly, eggs perfectly cooked, scones too beautiful to eat. The sleep was great too, but the breakfasts.......!!!! Janet More

How fitting, as you sit at the dining table gazing out on Willapa Bay, where 25% of the US oysters are grown, to enjoy pan fried oysters with a savory breakfast entree. Of course, bacon/ sausage is also available, along with fruit juice, homemade pastries, etc. Besides being a wonderful cook, the hostess was warm and accommodating, willing to chat,... More

Ginger (host) is very welcoming, gracious and helpful. Common areas and rooms are comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean in this 1920's home. Best breakfast EVER - and we've stayed in lots of B&B's. Would return in a heartbeat! More

The Charles Nelson Guest House is one of those places that feels so comfortable, it is more like visiting a favorite relative than staying at a B&B. Our hostess Ginger Gish is one of the sweetest people you could hope to meet. She goes way above the norm in trying to please her guests, always offering what ever little extra... More

Small (3 bedroom) B&B with large living spaces, and excellent breakfast. Guests have "full run" of the entire house (owners live next door). Originally selected due to it's location close to razor clamming, but would return for a relaxing visit. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. If you like B&B, this will not disappoint. More

Some times when you take a road trip and don’t make reservations you find you self in places you really don’t want to be in specifically a hotel or motel that’s less than desirable just because all of the good places are booked but with a little luck and some local information you can find the gems of all gems.... We had a delightful visit. The hosts couldn't have been more gracious in making sure my partner got to view the England v Germany match. This is a wonderful B&B to stay in while you explore the WA coast. Very comfortable rooms, well appointed bathrooms, charming decorations and a yard geared towards relaxing while bird watching. We will definitely go... More
