We have been going to the Long Beach Pennensula since I was 4 yrs. old....We found this quaint place when our son was 9yrs...and we have been coming back since. My sisters also bring their children and now we are starting to bring our grandchildren. The beach is so close and private that we really have the opportunity to relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet, and a good book. The beach feels as if it is our own. There is so much to do! Anyone of any age can walk the beach and find beach treasures, in fact I have found Japenese glass floats and many sand dollars as well as other interesting objects. You can dig for clams and catch great tasting crabs and fish which you are able to clean in an area that Westgate has set up just for that. We have been known to surf with a board or body surf. The area boasts many other activities as well. We look forward to many more trips to Westgate with our growing family. Thank you Westgate for the many years of fun.
