During the Ocean Shores Jazz Festival we stayed at the Gitchee Gummi. As musicians our rooms were provided. We left the key to our room(plus a tip) when we left for the weekend. A month later a $50 ncharge appeared on our credit card bill. When asked the manager said because we did not bring the keys to the front desk she was required to enforce the charge. She said we signed paperwork so there was nothing she would do for us. Because we were in a hurry we did not notice this policy on the paper work. We believe from a customer relations standpoint the fee should have been waved. The key were not missing and a tip was provided. This is not good business practice.
