The corner of the living room was filled with spiders hanging from the ceiling, cobwebs and dust with an abundance of flies. The furniture was dirty, as was the whole communal area. The room we were put in was a converted garage, form which you had to go outside into the main building to use the bathroom, and which was freezing. You could see what they were trying to do with an alternative atmosphere but we had stayed in other "alternative" hostels which were clean and friendly and really lovely places to be. This hostel was not. more
