This is a very quaint place. The inn keepers are the most relaxed individuals -- they just immediately help you calm down and forget all of the day to day worries. Their modest home is clean and nice. The attic has been divided up into two rooms. Our bedroom had the most comfortable linens and the mattress was divine. We slept great. The bath had a shower. The water was hot and the water pressure was great. The big picture window has a beautiful view of the ocean. When you open the window you can hear the waves. Pacific Beach is a beautiful, quiet beach. It is a great setting to just relax and do beach stuff. The town is small. You can walk to the quickie mart and get wonderful Chinese food that is made in a little counter restaurant. We drove to Quinalt rain forest one day and hiked to the biggest trees in the USA. It was really nice. There is a fish hatchery there and we visited that as well. All in all we had a wonderful stay with Miriam and Paul. I love these... more
