I stayed with my friend in the main lodge. Even though it was the older building, it was very clean and comfortable. Our four daughters stayed in a newer lakeview room. They had a comfortable room with a great view! We cooked outside on our own BBQ that we brought, stopped across the street at the market for more groceries,... more

Lake Quinault Lodge, located in the National forest on the south shore of Lake Quinault, WA, is a real gem. We stayed in a beautiful room (226) which doubles as the "honeymoon room," and has a fireplace and view of the lake. Granted we were there at the low season, and it rained, rained, rained, all during our stay, but... more

Our stay in Quinault Lake Lodge was a big highlight of our Seattle/national parks (Rainier and North Cascades besides Olympic) trip. It is a grand building that takes its rightful place in the great “parkitecture” tradition. I found the setting beautiful and very romantic (in spite, or maybe because of, of the rain) and Olympic National Park and other parts... more

Reception unfriendly. No help offered with cases to upstairs room. Only shower in bathroom. No TV (OK by me but you should know). Food average & not cheap. Own wine reasonable. Wi-fi worked OK. Poor help on local stuff. Staff looked demotivated perhaps because they were so few. (The lodge lounge fire wasn't stoked once despite a wall plaque to... more

We stayed at The Lake Quinault Lodge at the end of July. It was unseasonably hot (100+) degrees and the hotel is not air conditioned. When we checked in the front desk staff were obviously miserable from the stifling heat. They were not overly welcoming or helpful...but honestly, I'm not sure I can blame that. Aside from that, the property... more

Very sad that this lovely historic old Lodge in a stunningly beautiful spot is so poorly managed and neglected. It could be fabulous. Talk about a missed opportunity. Wake up AMARAK resorts!. The room was poorly maintained with windows that malfunctioned, and very noisy. The furniture was mid 80's oak. The headboard was just placed behind the bed and loose... more

A truely classic lodge in the rain forests of Western Washington. All of the amenities you could ask for, unless you need a television, phone, radio or cell service. Very peaceful. We will go back again and stay longer. The food is outstanding. Great service throughout the facility. more

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. We had a rather small room in the main building on the 1st floor with a view of the roof of the swimming pool. But hey, we did not stay in our room because the garden, the terrace and the lounge were gorgeous. The room had been renovated, good shower, small... more

We visited the area in October. The drive was gorgeous, the view even more beautiful, and the lodge was very inviting. Once we booked our room we found the staff very unfriendly and the lodge needed lots of improvements. The pool and game area is in the basement...the staff must be so embarrassed about it's condition they don't mention it.... more

We have a 8 year old and a 5 year old and stayed in the Boat House of the Lake Quinault Lodge. We loved the 6 day stay here. The staff were wonderful. We ate at the Lodge one night and had a wonderful dinner. Wonderfully kept lodge in the beautiful rain forest. There are two other places to eat... more
