The rates were reasonable but once I got to the hotel I noticed that it is relatively old. Entries to the rooms from outside only, carpet was filthy in the lobby, breakfast was a full breakfast but it was not as fresh as it should have been. Location is great but, I would not stay here again. more

The price was so low ($69 for a summer Saturday night--just $10 more than the dive we stayed in the night before in Ellensburg), I was a little wary. The Shilo Inn turned out to be one of the best bargains I've found in a long time. Our room was enormous and included a mini-fridge, microwave, and wet bar. The... more

overall, it was a nice motel. Lots of room, the room was one of the largest I've ever stayed in. The wireless internet in the room worked well, also a business center with internet. There is a pool, spa, sauna, steam room etc. The pool isn't covered though. I always wonder WHY a hotel doesn't cover them. I feel they... more

Very comfortable stay with plenty of room and good bed. Located on the river we were quite taken with the miles long boardwalk in either direction from the Shilo. Great for walks, running or roller blading. Breakfast was not just cereal and pastries. Breakfast included a buffet complete with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, pastries and choice of beverage. The... more

Andrea, the desk clerk was professional, pleasant and very helpful in obtaining a 1st Class Room after discussion with her Manager (Mia) who made the final decision to give us an upgrade to a King Bed Room facing the Columbia River at a great rate. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Richland, WA. During... more

I have been staying at the Shilo Inn off and on for the last two years. I work out of town and my company would allow me to stay anywhere I want, but I choose to stay at the Shilo Inn because the staff is very friendly and always makes my stay enjoyable. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.... more

First, the rooms open to the outside (not the best for safety). My room was small and quite worn. They still use the old fashioned bedspreads (the kind that look like they may not have been washed recently). My room was not all that clean, had stained carpets and the walls needed a new coat of paint. My shower didn't... more

I am inclined to agree with a previous reviewer of this hotel. The room was VERY small (my bedroom at home is bigger than the entire unit); there were dead bugs on our sink counter which they did not clean up; they just placed our drinking glasses and washcloths right on top of them. The customer service though was very... more

First of all, this is not a hotel it is a motel. Your door faces the outside, either the parking lot or pool and maybe the river - I didn't venture that far. So, that was the first obvious thing I noticed when we pulled up. The pictures shown on this website don't exactly show you that. The room was... more

After all of the wonderful reviews, I was somewhat disappointed in the Shilo Inn. I guess I've had too many great experiences in Holiday Inn Expresses and didnt' find this property comparable. First I should say, however, that the pool is fabulous with a great small & enclosed shallow area for little ones. And the beds were very comfortable. I... more
