The manager, Tresa, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. There is a lovely little outdoor pool, but we arrived too late (it was too cool) to take advantage of it. Great value for a clean, comfortable stay. more

Our car broke down on the I-90 on our way from Seattle to Sandpoint and we were towed to Ritzville. The Colwell Inn was right across the street from the auto mechanic. We booked this motel through Hotels.com and the motel had no record of our reservation. Unfortunately, the hotel had no vacancy when we arrived. But the staff (Nicole and Dave? in particular) were extremely helpful in resolving the situation. This vintage motel offers clean rooms at a fair off-season price. The hosts were very accommodating. Our room did have a microwave and refrigerator, clean bedding, and lots of room.
