We were only passing through Roslyn for one night, but we really wished we could have stayed longer at Huckleberry House.
The B&B is run by Sybil and Don who have just moved round the block to leave the house dedicated to the guests and to provide themselves with a private house in which to bring up their family.
Sybil wasn't in when we arrived (half an hour later than we'd planned) but she soon turned up when we followed the instructions on the door and phoned her. We were shown to our delightful room upstairs, and told to help ourselves to drinks and homemade chocolate chip cookies (best I've tasted!).
The Pastoral Room (soon to be renamed the Quinault Room after the birth of the new baby!) was spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also peaceful and had a very pleasant bathroom with an old-fashioned style bath.
