We stayed at the Chito Beach Resort in November 2009. They have several different sized individual cabins. We stayed in the Birds Nest. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't get to fully enjoy just hanging around the beach which is right outside your door, literally, because there is so much to see near there. The cabin is fully equipped,... more

We traveled 19 days from Texas to Glacier National Park, Montana then to the Washington Coast. The entire Olympic peninsula was beautiful but there was something about Chito Beach I will never forget. We stayed 2 nights in the Rainforest but I could have stayed forever. more

We sandwiched a 3 day stay at Chito Beach in between two B&B weeekends in Port Townsend. It was love at first sight and we wished that we had booked our entire stay at Chito Beach. We stayed in the "Birdhouse", a little A-frame cottage with a kitchenette and a loft sleeping area with 6 skylights. The deck off the... more

We stayed in the Birdhouse - it is very compact, but we loved it. We felt like kids climbing a tree house to go to bed in the loft. Has a wonderful location and view of the beach and water. We watched bald eagles fly and whales spout from our own private little deck. It is a bit remote here... more

We loved our time at Chito Beach! We stayed two nights in Captain's Quarters. It is cute, cozy and very comfortable. I slept on the futon, it has a great mattress, I was pleasantly surprised.. The kitchen is well equipped and has a magic stove that works great. Has a better TV than I do at home; which was nice... more

We had a spectacular 4 days at Chito Beach Resort. We’d planned to stay only 2 nights, but as soon as we saw the setting knew we needed to stay an extra night. The Rock House is spectacular. We watched eagles land on rocks in front and soar overhead. Momma and baby otters climbed on the rocks beneath the deck.... more

My husband and I have traveled near and far and would rate this experience as one of our tops! Chito Beach is a perfect "base" for daytrips on the Olympic Peninsula such as the Hoh Rain Forest, Shi Shi Beach, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Cape Flattery, the coastal beaches and any other excursion on on the Olympic Peninsula. We enjoyed... more

We stayed in the Wolf Den and our friends stayed in the Captain's Quarters. Both accomodations were outstanding! The views included a long stretch of Washington's rugged coastline as well as the hummingbird feeders in front of each cabin. We enjoyed being able to use the Audubon Shore guide and the tide tables while exploring the area. At low tide... more

We booked the Rock House last weekend - WOW! Wonderfully remodeled cabin perched between two amazing sea stacks (see their website if you don't know what a sea stack is yet) and an incredible view of the strait of Juan de Fuca. The views, the waves, the wildlife were amazing. The cabin is just right for two - the upstairs... more
