I recently returned from spend four nights at Guye Peak Lodge. We stayed with another family over New Years. The location is great and the place looks nice enough but it is FILTHY! There were seven lights burned out, the dishwasher is broken. There were two different supposive cleaners that came in at different times without even knocking to get some materials that they needed for another property. One of them actually went into the laundry room and removed our laundry from the machine to wash some of their own stuff! We paid $1,420 for that? The kicker of it all was when we got home and a day later three members of my family and all four of the others broke out in spots. I was covered with spots! I went to the walk in Clinic and found out that I had contacted hot tub folliculitis.(We all showered before and after we had used the hot tub!) I missed a day of work and have a note from the doctor confirming what I have as does the other family. I have NEVER in my life complained about... more
