The hotel is decent...the lobby is beautiful so I would expect the rooms and ammenities to follow suite. I agree with the prior postings that the dispensers are tacky. No mini bar or coffee in the room. Waited a long time to check in even though there were only 2 people in front of me because they kept answering the... more

The Davenport Hotel is one of the West Coast's crown jewel hotels. It has been competely renovated and modernized, yet maintains its beautiful and colorful history. The service was impeccable, the rooms spacious and very comfortable right down to the turn-down service with a brittle candy on the pillow. You won't find a more beautiful, comfortable relaxing stay. more

Opened in September of 1914 and standing proud today, The Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Washington is without a doubt one of the true hotel gems of the west. I mean a walk around the lobby alone is worth a visit to this marvelous property. I was fortunate enough to spend a few days here over the summer and have to... more

Absolutely wonderful hotel. We have stayed at several 4 & 5 start hotels. The staff at this hotel are by far the best we have ever experienced. All of the staff went out of their way to make you feel like royalty. From the moment you drive up till you leave, the staff are wonderful. more

Wonderfully clean and comfortable. I loved the bed and pillows so much in the Tower that I purchased a pillow at the hotel store before my departure. Great service. I didn't eat in the hotel as it was too pricy. Parking was also very expensive but can be avoided by parking on the street right out front! more

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at the Davenport Tower. We were both very impressed with the hotel, the rooms, and the service! Both of us are frequent travelers and have stayed in some very nice hotels (most recently the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas). This hotel was definitely state of the art. The lighting... more

This fine hotel offers outstanding food and beverage service and quality. Once you are in your room the standards drop. Housekeeping is below average and one must request having sheets changed. Something you would not expect in a supposed four diamond rated hotel. For the price paid, one would expect outstanding amenties. Instead there are tacky plastic dispensers for soap,... more

The cost of parking at the Davenport is insane - $17 a night for self park that is across the street - guests are constantly running across the admittedly often empty street in the middle of the block between the hotel and the parkade. On one of the nights I was there, there were only three spaces left in a... more

We stayed at the Davenport last summer and loved it. We could not wait to return and were so excited when we were able to fit in a stay on a trip back to Seattle. What a difference a year makes! The quality has really gone downhill. I won't draw out all of the details, but basically they messed up... more

My husband and I had a business trip last weekend in Spokane. We loved the city and the Davenport is its' shining star! The hotel is remarkable! The service is unparalleled, every staff person is gracious and professional. The rooms are on the small side-but for a hotel of this age-that is very typical. The bed was like butter. The... more
