I was looking for a hotel with wireless internet and saw their ad online. It looked reasonable and safe. When I arrived the next day, there were broken chairs outside rooms, a junk truck that made the Beverly Hillbillies look like amateurs, bicycles and toys by doors and other indications that people were living in the motel. I really feel for people who must live in these circumstances, but the place was not what it advertises to be--it looks like the kind of place you bring a prostitute to. The bottom line is that it looks seedy and unsafe.
When I said that I could not stay and that it wasn't like the internet ad, they told me that I needed a 24-hour notice to cancel! THERE ARE PEOPLE LIVING HERE WEEK TO WEEK AND I NEED A 24-HOUR NOTICE TO CANCEL?????
I never even stayed and was charged $65.
