When my new wife and I were shopping for a honeymoon suite we wanted a place to stay for a week that was 1) cozy in feel, 2) reasonable in price, 3) away from hustle-and-bustle of the city, 4) with real people, 5) and near some nice sights to visit. All of our hopes were met at the Columbia River Gorge Bed and Breakfast.
1) Cozy: As you can see from the pictures the décor is cozy. It is a nice contrast from the feel of a starched and sterilized hotel. We went in the cool of March, and it was nice to have the warm pellet stove and the multitude of blankets and pillows. The outside was pleasant too with plenty of places to explore outside in the woods. The tea house in the woods was also a nice getaway nook. For the price, you couldn't get as comfortable a place to stay in a hotel
