We were a bit nervous when we arrived and saw a For Sale sign on the lawn. Also, the B & B is located in a more working class neighborhood so don't expect wide expanses of green lawn. While the house was a nice craftsman style and the rooms were small but comfy, it doesn't accommodate more than two people... more
We are in a residental neighborhood, and yes we do work so I guess it is a "working class" neighborhood. We do honer dietary needs but it is not easy when we are told at 10 pm. We did the best we could with the notice. I am sorry it was not good enough.
Great innkeepers. Helpful and friendly. Great house and gardens. Rooms nicely appointed. Road noise was present but didn't keep us awake. Tasty breakfast with fresh locally pressed apple cider. We'd stay there again. more
We have stayed in B&B's for many years, but this was the worst. We stayed in the "Carriage House" and couldn't believe the conditions of the room. The picture on their web only shows the full size bed, but we don't think it fairly represented the room. The bathroom had tile coming up around the edges, a light was burned... more
Jerry and I are very sorry you were so unappy with our Bed and Breakfast. When you made your reservations, you were told the Carriage House is very small, a one bedroom apt, and would be crowded for 4 adults. We are unable to control the road noise in the alley behind the Carriage House. It is the only way...
Lucky for me that most of the hotels were full when I was trying to find a room in Wenatchee on a busy weekend. Apple Country had a room available, and was glad to have us. B&B's are a great alternative to hotels in many cases - why stay at a hotel when you could be supporting a small business... more
We stayed in this homey 1918 arts and craft inn on Memorial weekend. There were newly weds giggling in their room and Canadians that traveled down for the Sasquatch festival at the Gorge ampitheater.
