Our room suited us just fine. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Yes, the bathroom was tiny, but that added to the overall charm. It seemed like a great value at $75/night. more
My wife and I stayed in a room in the main house. It was a clean room and the house had lots of charm. The bathroom reminded me of something in an RV. The shower door would not open all the way and you had to contort yourself up against the sink and squeeze in the gap. I think it... more
To our guests’ reaction about the shower in our Sunrise Room (# 6), while the comparison to R.V. design is a rather distasteful one to swallow it fairly points to some features of that bathroom space we also feel need to be improved. It is the only one bathroom in our main house that has not yet been upgraded this...
Our family fit nicely in the cozy cottage at Glenacres. As it was fully furnished with dishes, pots, pans, etc and Red Apple is near, we were perfectly happy w/o breakfast in the main house (which was being remodeled). The staff was kind and completely non-obtrusive. This was a great place to stay! more
If you look at the "tour" pictures on the Glenacres Inn site you will probably think , "WOW! But beware. The room that we stayed in does not contain the furniture as 'staged' in the photo.
