The king room we spent two nights in was luxurious, very clean and with all of the amenitys one would expect. The owners and staff were both helpful and friendly to fill our requests. The Chewuch Inn has got to have two of the friendliest most accomodating hosts you could find. Dan and Sally did a first rate job of describing the area and the range of outdoor pursuits available. Just returned from the Inn, all other reviews spot on. Only complaint, our room, #17, was below another and we could hear them clomping around. Otherwise the room beautifully appointed, the breakfast was great, although it was mostly all carbs, and the staff/owners were friendly and helpful. I stayed 1 night as a stopover between Oak Harbor, WA and Osoyoos, BC. Winthrop is a fun place to visit with its Western atmosphere. The town and also the Inn was very quiet that day. Room was great, nice kitchenette, nice bath, loved the gas fireplace. Breakfast all about carbs, would it kill them to offer hard boiled eggs for protein? Oatmeal not really cooked. Hot tub really disappointing, large size so that you could tub with your family, but absolutely choking with an excessive amount of chlorine, so much that I couldn't stay in... more

We stayed here 2 nights. It was so nice to have many dear wander up to the back door in the evenings and early morning. A 15 minute walk takes you in to Winthrop as the inn has a rural and peacefull setting. The breakfasts were excellent being very tasty and home cooked in buffet style with plenty of choice.... more
