My husband and I think this is the best B&B in WA state! Jim and Erika are fabulous hosts: very warm, friendly, and go the extra mile to make your stay relaxing. Jim brought us up coffee before breakfast; and there is fruit and water in your room. Erika is a fabulous chef: slow food with an international flair! No... more

My husband and I and another couple visited A Touch of Europe for 2 nights. Our stay was perfect. We opted for dinner one of the evenings and glad we did. Erica is a fabulous chef and Jim was a great "waiter". They are a lovely couple and their home is charming and immaculate. You can't go wrong with this... more

We spent two nights at Touch of Europe and added one dinner to our stay. My wife and I absolutely loved this building, our room, and everything we were served at either breakfast and the dinner we ordered. The innkeepers were very friendly. The grounds are very well-kept and gorgeous. Attention to detail was terrific. For example a cold pack... more

An absolutely scrumptious breakfast by candlelight. deep relaxing sleep in a victorian room modeled with romantic french furnishings. A very pleasant and deeply committed innkeeper. Easy access to the highway as well as downtown Yakima, in the heart of Washington's famous wine country. A highly recommended treat. more

The Touch of Europe B&B was lovely and a delightful find in Yakima. We stayed in the Gold Room, very comfortable bed and the golden sun on the fresh cut roses in the afternoon was so nostalgic. We enjoyed our glass of wine in the afternoon out under the gorgeous canopy of the 100 year old sycamore trees. Erica and... more

From the warm greeting we received as we parked our car to the attention to detail at breakfast, the service provided at A Touch of Europe was delightful. Our room was comfortable and we found the location convenient for our needs. Breakfast was truly gourmet and very enjoyable. more

We had a wonderful time at the Touch of Europe. Jim, our host met us at the car to carry our luggage to our room. Erika prepared two excellent dinners for us while we were there. The roast duck was great. The breakfasts were gourmet sensations!! The room was large, quiet, and contained those extra amentities such as fruit &... more

We found this B&B listed in 'Best Places Northwest' and we definitely agree that it is a Best Place! Our visit has changed our entire perception of Yakima. The innkeeper provided us with a list of brew pubs, wineries and restaurants and that list took us into the historic downtown area which is so much different than what one sees... more

My husband and I stayed only one night at this bed and breakfast, and wish we could have spent another! We were just looking for a nice place to stay after spending the day at the wineries, but we found so much more. Beautiful, immaculate rooms with extremely comfortable beds and very well appointed with quality furnishings and all the... more

I completely agree with the other two negative responses about Jim at this B&B. My wife and I planned a night there base on our friends recommendation. We came over for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We arrived early in Yakima and stopped into the B&B upon arrival. Jim came running out saying we were too eary and had to... more

Foreword: Advance coordinating always circumvents potential inconveniences and surprises. A driveway monitor at the entrance of our property alerts us when someone enters the property whether it be someone wanting B&B information, UPS, FEDEX or arriving overnight guests, for example. Conjunctively, our custom of over 14 years greeting guests, this way, the moment they arrive is the welcoming, to help...
