My original impression of this hotel wasn't as bad, other than that it was much smaller than I anticipated. Don't let the "Suites" fool you. The Cedars Suites in Yakima is an average motel. Rooms are small and cramped. Beds were not especially comfortable. Bathroom showed some wear and tear. We arrived late (1:30am) and the check in was prompt and courteous. The continental breakfast was above average. This is an average value for the rate that we paid. more

This is a fairly ordinary motel close to the Yakima Convention Center but quite hard to find. It is behind the Howard Jonhson, but if you go to far you end up on the freeway. The motel itself is inexpensive, fairly comfortable, but had loud air conditioners. more

Appreciate that the clerk checked us in as early as possible, since we had a morning appointment for outpatient surgery. Happily supplied extra pillows and hot water for tea. Stayed here for one night, I had to change my reservation and called the day before the reservation and the person on duty said "no problem" . Cedar Suites ended up charging me for a no-show and stated I had to call by 3 pm the day before to change a reservation, even though it said on my reservation confirmation... more
