We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. Owners/Inn Keepers were exceptionally friendly and shared the history of the home and area. They were passionate about the home and very knowledgeable about the antiques and paintings in the Inn. One of the best B&B's we have stayed in. more

OUTSTANDING!!! Don and Marie were caring, knowledgable, and friendly. They were pleasant socially, yet inobtrusive. Their historic home was well kept with modern conveniences(ex.central air). Free breakfast(homemade muffins,fresh fruit, sumptuous offerings)--free drinks-free snacks-freeparking. This was the perfect location in our travels to VA, DC, MD, and WVA. Donn and Marie are wonderful hosts and clearly love what they do! Their inn is beautiful, historic, and comforatble. My husband eats everything, but I am vegan and we both enjoyed fabulous breakfasts. Don't forget to try the porch swing! more

Absolutely top notch...fabulous hosts, wonderful breakfast...add in a bit of history and you are set. We had booked the Hill Top Inn in Harper's Ferry, arrived late at night and it was horrid! I can't say enough about the positive weekend just spent at the Carriage Inn. We felt at home from the minute we stepped on the front porch and more so thoughout our stay.
