We stayed at this hotel because we found good reviews about it, and we decided to try it. The hotel is located near town; the internet was great! (we used 2 computers, one on wireless and the other was plugged), and the hotels accepts pets (for $10/night). The room was outdated, and kind of smelly; but again, the internet was... more
We stayed 2 nights over the 4th of July holiday as we were whitewater raftting on the 4th. We were only a couple miles down the road from our whitewater company and the New River Gorge bridge. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The wireless internet access was really slow. There was a gift shop on the property with reasonable... more
Fayetteville is an absolutely awesome small town full of things to do... but you had better stay somewhere else if you expect friendly and helpful staff. We had booked a ground floor for necessary reasons with a fridge, microwave, and internet. We got NONE of these amenities... when we checked in we asked about all of these things and they... more
The management knows that this is the only hotel in town. The rooms are overpriced for the average quality. Fortunately, the decor has been updated. The pool needs to be repaired in places, but it still works. There is a baby pool for those under 3. There is a free breakfast and a restaurant with bar food. Location is the... more
The motel was in a safe area with access to a gas station and Dairy Queen right there. We stayed in room 222 and found it to be clean and accomodating with the desk folks being courteous and helpful. You need to stay on the inside rooms opposite of the highway for a quieter nights stay.Parking was good and well lit for... more
Very near New River Gorge. this is no doubt what it is overrun with rafters. rooms are dingy, but if you have been on the river all day, perhaps it doesn't matter. If you are not a rafter...don't stay. Noisy, rundown...you get the picture. Go to nearby Beckly for a choice of hotels! more
The best thing I can say about this hotel is that it really close to the Rivermen whitewater rafting center. Other than that this is a very non-quality Quality Inn. The room we had was very noisy - we could hear everything from the rooms around us and from outside...no reason to believe the others would be any better. The... more
Our two night stay was a bit mixed, but the helpfulness and understanding of the staff was fantastic, well beyond what could be expected. While staying there, I experienced mechanical difficulties with my vehicle, which various members of the staff helped me with by loaning tools and advice to help fix the problem, and the manager even obliged by taking... more
Chose this spot for proximity to our whitewater rafting outfitter, fair reviews in Trip advisor, and overtly negative reviews of other nearby lodging. Would stay here again but valuation is average to below average. Clean, good-sized rooms, decent breakfast. Rooms are very dark. Quirky, LAN internet connection did not work consistently. Our air-conditioning unit shorted out in an electrical storm... more
