My family stayed here because my mother had to have surgery at Ruby Memorial Hospital, everything was booked because of bike week. This was the only option with a non-smoking room, (2/4 people in my family smoke)! The rooms were fairly old, the beds were broke and leaned down hill, they also had stains all over them, and we found... more

Smell of urine outside door. Filthy rooms with dog hair on bed and carpet. Sleepless night with roaches. .....Just can't make this stuff up! Vacationers beware! more

As attendees at Sawlex 2009, my husband and I were not interested in amenities like internet, pools, or special entertainment features at premium prices. We were there for the exposition. This location was the closest to Sawlex location at Mylan Park . We wanted a motel to provide the basics at a reasonable price. Our room was clean. The desk... more

This is an older exterior corridor motel. It has been an Econo Lodge for quite some time, but I think it was part of another major chain a long time ago. The reason I mention this is because the rooms are much larger than what you would find in most economy hotels. Despite an outdated looking exterior, the room was... more

I was supposed to stay at another (more upscale) property that wound up being overbooked (!?!), and the only availability I could find on one hour's notice was this Econo Lodge. My experiences with EL have not been entirely favorable, but it was only for one night...how bad could it be for 60 bucks? The answer is...not bad at all.... more

The words that come to mind are "icky," followed by "rip-off." Probably one of the worst- smelling rooms I have ever stayed in- moldy, musty, old smoke smell. Dark, unrennovated rooms. Rusted fixtures. Stained, scratchy, poor quality bedlinens & towels. Mold & hair (not mine) in shower. Super loud heater. Bed hard as rock. TP like sandpaper. Rigid cancellation policy,... more

We stayed here for one night for a WVU basketball game. While the exterior looks a bit dated, the room looked like it had been fairly recently renovated. The carpet was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge and 4 cup coffee maker. The only negative thing was that the bathroom ceiling had a little mold... more

Stayed two weekend nights. This is an older motor hotel with outside corridors, which my husband prefers. Had an upper level room with king size bed. Room appeared to have brand new carpet, wall coverings, etc. Bathroom looked a little older, but in excellent condition. Everything looked and smelled new/clean. This motel sits back off main road, so no noise at... more
