Hotel has a nice charm, but the room was filthy! My son is at the age he wants to crawl around and picks up things....and I won't go into detail of what all he found, but it didn't appear that the room had been swept in quite awhile! Wouldn't pay the money to stay again. more

We like early 20th century decor, but prefer modern amenities. We very much liked the Morgan. Complimentary valet parking. Bellhops to handle the luggage. Efficient concierge service. What a charming beautiful hotel. Totally updated and done in style. Still has "old" charm, yet with all new amenities. Great location in downtown Morgantown. Lots happening on the streets on a Saturday summer evening. Will definately go back again and recommend to all. more

We travel to Morgantown frequently and always try and stay at this hotel, or Waterfront Place as a second choice. At the end of Morgantown's "main street", you can walk to a number of nice restaurants and the local shopping scene. Our favorite restaurant is Cafe Bacchus, just across the street. This hotel was built in the twenties. The rooms have been extensively renovated we were told and our's was quite nice and very clean. The public spaces are restored and elegant. There is a restaurant on the hotel's top floor and the views are wonderful. This had been a huge ballroom (must be 8000 sq.ft. or so) at one time... more

I stayed here for a WVU football game at the beginning of October. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown and is a great location for those who would like to enjoy the nightlife of Morgantown. However, the renovations done a couple of years ago are starting to age and I don't feel that the price is justified... more
