The area, the building and the room all neat and clean. In this price range you can not wish any better! Not everything is brand new, but well equipped, everything works. (The latest addition is LCD TV-s.) Simple, but tastefully decorated, and clean! I mean every corner, every edge dustless, the bathroom is spotless. It was CLEAN! more

We liked the Kookwink so much that we changed our motorcycle touring plans to stay an extra night. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. It was a great find and it now on our list of places to stay again. Motorcycle friendly, too. It's about 3/4 mile from the center of town. more

First and foremost - this place is clean. The rooms were planned with a lot of forethought. Plenty of room - double sinks - comfortable beds. We *L*O*V*E* the Koolwink Motel! We have property in the mountains of Romney and stay at the Koolwink when we get into town late don't have time to set up camp. I would not consider another motel.
