my family stayed in no.2 cabin and found it to be very nice, i didn't run into no arrognant staff very nice to us, no smokey fireplace, but we did build the fire ourselves, no big deal. i feel you all most be used to more elegance than yokum's offer. More

My wife and I stayed two nights at Yokum’s in one of the "new" cabins - Cabin 2. On the plus side -- great view of Seneca Rocks, picturesque cabin, clean, comfortable bed, outdoor Jacuzzi, picnic table and charcoal grill. On the minus side -- DOA heating and cooling, smoky fireplace, do-it-yourself fire fixings, shoddy maintenance, staff with attitude, heavy... More

My wife and I had made a reservation for 2 nights (Fri nt & Sat nt) for a 1 bedroom cabin. I had been told there was only 1 cabin available for both nights and I had even enquired about the horseback riding on Sat and Sun. So I made the reservation. We checked in late Friday and quickly started... More

Our family has stayed at this campground for the past 20 years and after this Labor Day trip we plan to NEVER return to this dump. We had a total of 12 people in our party. 3 with campers and 1 in a tent. 4 children were also a part of the group. Our "neighbors" were very polite and inviting... More

We, too, were appalled by the rooms near the swimming pool. I don't know why anyone who cares for their safety would stay there. So we switched to the Yokum's rooms above the general store, in the building next to the Breakfast Porch building, where all the highways meet. I had been there before with my girlfriend, so I knew... More

This place was absolutely disgusting and clearly they do not change their sheets or towels in between guests. We spent most of our time outside by a campfire so when we went to finally go to bed and pull back the sheets we saw the clearly had stains from a previous couple having relations on the bed. The stains were... More

I took my grandson to Seneca for their climbing school, and I sat on their comfortable breezy porch to watch the action. The room was quite and well laid out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay and will go back. More

We did not realize that Cabin 21, which we had reserved, was part of a duplex, with perhaps the possibility of noisy neighbors. Cabins 23 and 20 were singles, with #23 further from the road. We chose it. It was a clean cabin, with a full sized refrigerator and an electric stove. The outdated microwave had no power setting, only... More
