Jim and Jeanne are wonderful host and have a beautiful home. The breakfast were quite large and delicious...especially the chilled strawberry soup and the hashbrown quiche. We were there for 4 nights and a very pleasant stay. The breakfasts were great, our room was quite spacious, the location was within walking distance to all the shops and the college, the innkeepers assisted us in dining reservations for the four nights. Great inn with great inn keepers. Traveled with large group of cyclist and we found this inn very accomidating to all of our needs. The breakfast in the morning was always great, and coffee was always available early with breat biscotti. The town was very quaint and offers easy acsess to all the things you want to see. more

Shepherdstown is a surprising town. It has several interesting restaurants and shops. The Inn is located at one end of town, unfortunately at the intersection of 2 very busy roads. Innkeepers, Jeanne & Jim, made me feel so welcome! And their inn is filled with amenities to make my stay very comfortable - having the afternoon and evening tea was a highlight!
