If you like strangers long hairs on the bathroom floor. Semen on the bed blankets and a dirty couch that smells when you sit there for too long then this hotel is for you. I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and had a lovely time boy has it gone down hill. Not only was the room filthy and... more

We stayed a week at the Allegheny Springs between Christmas and New Years. My husband skied and it was my 7 yr olds first time on the mountain with a new snowboard. I didn't ski this time and hung out with my two year old. Arrival was a breeze with the valets a welcome relief to the travel. We used... more

Resort was above average, very convenient with great proximity to slopes and the village. Nice personnel, well appointed rooms with nice gas fireplaces. Bedrooms a little small, kitchen adequate, great view. On site ski/bike storage. Steps from shops and slopes. Parking close by. Nice pool, fire pit and sauna. Across the street to "Split Rock" pools and saunas. Ski slopes... more

Allegheny Springs is the middle of everything, has it's own hot tub, heated pool and fire pit. I recommend the 4th floor as it has vaulted ceilings and feels very open and spacious and less noise if your slopeside and the snowcats are working. Nice Weight rooms, sauna and Lockers for Ski equipment. Use the counter in the Condotel to... more

Great place to ski and also a great summer resort if you want to unwind. I've booked through snowshoe's cite directly and they often have a 3rd or 4th night free option. If I go again this summer I'll check out vrbo.com to see if I can deal. Suggest you stay in the village where there are plently of restaurant... more

We went to Snowshoe and stayed at Allegheny Springs for a long weekend......actually the "last hurrah" weekend. The hotel location is great.....right in the middle of the village and right by the ski slopes. The location couldn't have been better. We booked online, although we are familiar with the resort since we live in WV. We chose the one bedroom... more

We stayed at Allegheny Springs in the village at Snowshoe. It is truly beautiful in the village with access to the shops and restaraunts and a front row view of the slope. We stayed in Allegheny Springs condo #134. I would highly recommend this condo if you're going with 6 or less. It has a bedroom with two queens and... more

I go to Snowshoe about twice a year - once in the winter to ski and once in the summer (to play golf and hike in the mountains) or fall (the changing leaves are amazing in October). I always stay in Allegheny Springs and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice (although not luxury) place to stay in... more

My wife and I just returned from our first Ski trip to Snowshoe, WV. We have skiied out West many times and were apprehensive about skiing in the east but Snowshoe was great. The village area is incredible with new condos, shops and restaurants. We stayed at Allegheny Springs but Highland House and Rimfire Lodge also looked like they were... more

We have skied at all of the other mountains in WV and this was our first trip to Snowshoe. The hotel was very nice and the skiing is the best in WV (even though it is expensive). Food on the mountain was not very good (like you would expect) so it is worth getting a place with a kitchen. If... more
