Firstly we did not stay in the Wilson Lodge but in one of the cottages in the grounds (Bluet) which was absolutely fantastic! We went for Xmas and had just the best time ever. The cottage was huge with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and a very large lounge/dining area. We had a lovely stone fireplace complete with log fire.... more

We visited Wilson Lodge December 26th to take the kids to see Oglebay's festival of lights. Oglebay Resort is a quaint Lodge set amongst a beautiful setting in WV, just one hour from Pittsburgh. We stayed here in the new Lodge Addition which boasts 500 square foot rooms with fireplaces, and large oversized bathrooms with double vanities and separate walk in showers and bathtubs.
