This B&B is a beautiful, elegant home on the residential end of one of De Pere's main streets. (There’s no sign out front so look for the red brick mansion.)

We were there for our first trip to Wisconsin and hit the jackpot. Deb and Bill (the live-in owners) greeted us at the door, gave us a glass of wine and then joined us for a chat out on their back terrace as we watched the sun set over their large, beautiful lawn and the Fox River. What a view!

And the interior is just as nice, if not more so. Each room is well furnished and gorgeous. Upstairs, the three guest rooms are elegant. We stayed in the Pearl Room which has a large bathroom with a 7-foot long, double headed shower plus a big jacuzzi tub, double sinks (and a walk-in closet).

If you want to stretch your legs, you can cut through the back yard and stroll up the nice asphalt trail that runs along the river for miles in both directions. You can even rent a bicycle at a nearby... more
