A decent hotel located just off the freeway. It was a $10 cab ride to "downtown" eau claire. Hotel was a little dated, but kept very clean. Late night stop after a full day of driving on a one way coast-to-coast trip. Good location next to large mall and easy to find from the interstate. Staff was helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was a cut above most. Good place to stop and good value for the price paid. Travelers with children will enjoy the indoor pool. more

This hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which is a good thing. The property is clean and the bedding is nice but the decor, carpets, and furniture are quite worn and dated. We stayed in a "King Jacuzzi Suite" and were disappointed to find many neglected maintenance issues...crumbling drywall, cigarette burns in the bathtub (in a "Non-Smoking" room), a persistently dripping... more
