I've been staying at the Otter Creek Inn several nights every year for about a decade, and I've never been disappointed. The owner is an absolutely great lady, and a very talented artist to boot. The home is filled with antiques and memorabilia like most B & B's, but the difference is that these items tend to all be family heirlooms handed down for generations through the owner's family.
The rooms vary greatly in size, but not in quality. All have free-standing whirlpools, heavy quilts on the beds, televisions, VCR's (with lots of movies to choose from), coffee makers, refrigerators and phones on request. The house tends to be very quiet and at night seems synonomous with relaxation and a good night's sleep. Some rooms have fireplaces, but all have very nice private bathrooms and pleasant amenities.
The breakfast isn't fancy, but it's still good. You have the option of having breakfast in bed each morning, or you can have it in the dining room area. The... more
