We were looking for a family-friendly place to bring the grandkids, and truly enjoyed our stay at the Clark Lake Waterfront Cottage. We stayed in the new log cabin, with my wife and I staying in the lower level master bedroom and our daughter and two little ones relegated to the upstairs loft. The master bedroom is well isolated from the loft, so any child noise won't be noticed. We had a blast. The cabin was bright with lots of windows. The cedar logs gave the place a real outdoor feel, but the kitchen had all of the modern conveniences. (The split-lot stairway was a little rough-hewn, causing a few scrapes on little feet, but no one complained much). The cabin is located behind a lakefront cottage, so I would give the view only a 3 rating. The gas fireplace was a nice touch, as was the cable TV. Splashing around in the water was also a plus, whether it was wading in he shallow beach or heading out on the lake in the provided canoe, row boat or paddle boat. Fishing didn't yield any... more
