We spent two nights and arrived without reservations. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. As this was in the off-season, we had our choice of most of the rooms in the inn. There are several rooms in the main house which are the traditional Bed and Breakfast, including light continental breakfast in the morning. There... more

My husband and I just spent a lovely 3 nights at the Eagle Harbor Inn in Ephraim, Door County, Wisc. We stayed in the Bed and Breakfast Inn in the room called "Hilda" and we loved it. At first we thought the room might be too small to stay in for 4 days, but as soon as we were "moved... more

This year, my family (husband and grown, and almost grown daughters) all decided not to exchange gifts for Christmas, but rather go on a "family mini-vacation weekend". WE COULD NOT OF MADE A BETTER DECISION!! We stayed at the Eagle Harbor Inn (the "Sumac" Cottage) and were very pleased. The two-bedroom suite was clean, comfy and PERFECT in size, for... more

We have stayed at the Eagle Harbor Inn several times over the years and have always had a wonderful experience. The property is immaculately maintained. We sleep so well there I can't image the complaints about the beds. It's the most relaxing place we've been. If you eat breakfast in the inn you will not need lunch! Huge & very... more

Went to Door County for a Girls Weekend last week. Stayed in a 2BR Suite in the Cedar Building. Grounds were kept up nicely, building exteriors were in decent shape. Upon entering the Cedar building I was overwhelmed with a very bad odor of heavy vanilla & garbage (dirty diaper smell). Realized there was a "Plug In" in the hallway... more

We stayed at the Inn right after Christmas for two nights. We stayed in the Ceder House (seperate from the Inn) in one of their suites. Our building included a total of eight suites with four on each floor. It didn't seem quite like a bed+breakfast but the room was nice and romantic. A nice quiet get-a-way for us for... more

We stayed in the Tillie room in the main building over the 2006 Thanksgiving weekend. It was small but very nice and clean. The room was a bit on the noisey side - lots of footfalls from above, not voices. The bed had a nice down comforter but was a little lumpy and I woke up a couple times with... more

I can't say enough good things about Door County. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there last August, and we had a great time. We stayed in the village of Ephraim, which is centrally located in Door County. I found some of the other villages (especially Fish Creek) to be kind of "tourist-y". Ephraim on the other hand... more

My wife and I have stayed at the Eagle Harbor Inn several times a year for many years, and from our first stay there we've never considered staying anywhere else. We've even tried suites throughout the property. Here's a tip: We've always returned to the first suite we tried, Hollyhock 1, because it is the largest of the 1-BR suites... more

We really enjoyed our stay at EHI. We stayed in the suite, WB2. The room was top notch and Ephraim is the place to stay. It is right next to the lake, just down the road from The Old Post Office restaurant, close to lots of shops, and only 3mi away from Not Licked Yet custard. We will definately be... more
