The lodgings are in a great location. The accomodations were roomy, comfortable, and contemporary. We found the owner Hu to be a valuable resource. He was knowledgeable about restaurants and hiking trails. We never would have found the hiking trails on our own and the sunset viewing he recommended was spectacular. My husband and I stayed in The Cabin Room at Lodgings at Pioneer Lane. Each room has its own theme. Ours was inspired by the Adirondack-camp style. It had a king-sized hickory bed, a sitting area with a love seat, TV, and fireplace. There was also a kitchenette, whirlpool tub, and private balcony. My wife and I stayed here over labor day weekend and just loved it. Ephraim is a great basecamp for door county with short drives to sister bay, fish creek, egg harbor, and peninsula state park. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great room and perfect location for exploring the area. Hiked in two great state parks -- within easy reach of Ephraim. Had a great time walking Ephraim and Eagle Harbor as well as visiting other Door County towns nearby. Highly recommend the Lodgings!
