I try to review a hotel based on what I think I am getting. Microtel is a low-end hotel and was priced as such. We like Microtel because, for its price point, you know you will get a clean room. This Microtel is clean, has a nice continental breakfast, very friendly staff, and, surprise, a cute pool that has water-park "features" and is open 24 hours. We were very happy with our stay and plan to bring the kids next time! more

Check in was really confusing. They sent us to a room that somebody was in. The front desk person and the housekeeper were trying to figure it out and finally a manager came out and found us a room. Fine little hotel, and a must if you have small kids. Have a special, mini-waterpark perfect for kids 6 and under. Small area with fountains a two-foot deep water. Other areas include whirling pool, basketball nets, and two short slides. I've been there with my son and his grandma twice! more

This is a very nice place to stay if you are traveling with children, the pool area is designed for all aged children. There is a nice water slide, basketball hoops in one of the pools, and a baby part as well. The rooms are very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children. more
